On behalf of YARNS GALORE INC, I (Kathleen Jantz-Koprivnik)
would like to donate one, hand-woven, Decorator Throw to the on-line benefit
auction for Black Sheep Creamery’s flood relief efforts. Examples are shown
above on the right and left. (The center throw is a 4 shaft pattern.)
The approximate dimensions of the Decorator Throw will be 38”
wide by 72” long (--longer if necessary to weave a complete pattern.)
- The warp will be 100% wool. The color will be white.
- The tabby weft will be a blend of wool and angora (70% wool, 30% angora).
The color will be white.
- I will mail a photocopy of PLYMOUTH YARN COMPANY’S current
“Galway Irish” color card to the successful Purchaser.
- The Purchaser will be allowed to select the color of the pattern weft
(shown in blue on the accompanying draft).
- When the color of the pattern weft has been selected, I will place an
order with PLYMOUTH YARN COMPANY for the desired color (--if
it is not already in stock).
- Shipping of the completed Decorator Throw will either be 90 days
from the date the yarn is received from PLYMOUTH YARN COMPANY or,
if the yarn is already in stock, 90 days from the date of color selection
is made. (I will confirm with Purchaser if yarn is in stock or date on which
the yarn is received.)
- Shipping will be via “First Class Mail” through the U.S. Postal Service.
- The Decorator Throw will be insured for $400 and will include return
receipt verification.
In order to mail a photocopy of the color card to the Purchaser and coordinate
color selection, the Purchaser will need to provide me with his/her name,
address, and telephone number – though e-mail would be preferable to a telephone
number.
The eight items listed above, plus the draft, constitute the form and terms
of the donation.
