Gotland sheep are new in North America, and EverRanch Farm is a Charter member of the Gotland Association. In 2012 we are expecting lambs up to 87% Gotland - from semen imported from SWEDEN!
These outstanding small farm sheep have lustrous, wavy, soft handling fleece that is excellent for spinning, felting and pelts. The sheep are medium sized, naturally short tailed, easy care and inquisitive. They are more friendly and calmer than most other sheep breeds.
Gotlands are known throughout the world as lustrous, curly, grey sheep. Through our upbreeding program, we have unique white, brown and black %Gotlands, as well as the original grey color. We think the "other" colored Gotlands are just as outstanding as the greys.
Delivery can be arranged and visitors are welcome.
